男，汉族，1946年生于上海，1986年毕业于上海大学美术学院油画系。现为上海油画雕塑院油画家，油画创作室主任，1 级美术师，中国美术家协会会员，上海美术家协会理事。曾获第六届全国美展铜奖，第九届全国美展银奖，’99上海美术作品展1 等奖，建党80周年上海美展优秀作品奖。作品曾多次入选全国和上海各类美术大展，这些展览有第六届、第七届、第八届、第九届全国美展，首届、第二届中国油画展，中国油画精品大展，’98中国艺术大展油画艺术展，全国画院双年展，上海历史油画新作展等。
《杜甫》、《曙光》、《孙中山在澳门》、《李清照》等。作品曾赴香港、美国、日本、欧洲等地展出。有作品为中国美术馆、上海美术馆，上海历史博物馆、澳门博物馆、孙中山纪念馆及海内外收藏家收藏。
1988年、1993年应邀访问日本、美国，并举办个人画展。
