杨秋宝，男，1944年10月出生，江苏常熟人。中国美术家协会会员，上海市美术家协会会员，市美协连环画艺术委员会委员。原上海市文汇报社美术编辑、记者。
连环画《红楼梦》曾于第三届全国连环画展览获优秀封面奖；《墙头马上》获第四届全国连环画展套书二等奖；《武松》曾入选第六届全国美展；《大亨黄金荣》入选第七届全国美展。漫画《俺乡在开“救贫”会》获88’全国漫画金猴大奖赛三等奖。
2005年起历时三年，与东阳木雕大师等合作以中国古典小说四大名著为内容创作巨型木雕作品《四大名柱》（西、三、红、水）。高为11米，周长为3米，耸立在南京市江苏省工艺美术馆，成为中国木雕工艺美术的世界之最，荣获首届东方工艺美术之都博览会上迎春奖“东方瑰宝 ”。
