朱维民(1932.12—2016.12)上海人。擅长油画、东方 美术史。1948年在杭州西湖艺术研讨 所学习。1953年毕业于地方 美术学院绘画系。长时间 在新疆工作。前中国人民大学艺术研讨 所所长，现为中国美术家协会会员、中国人民大学副教授。曾赴美国讲学。油画《新疆维吾尔族百岁老人》入选1982年巴黎春季沙龙，《黄昏》为中国美术馆收藏，作品有《贫农的女儿》等。出版有《朱维民油画素描集》等。
