张晓凌，安徽阜南人，中共党员。1979年毕业于安徽阜阳师范学院艺术系。1988年毕业于中国艺术研讨 院，获硕士学位，1991年获博士学位，导师为著名学者王朝闻、刘纲纪。曾任我院美术研讨 所副所长，现为中国国家画院副院长，研讨 员、博士生导师，享用 国务院政府津贴专家、文明 部高级职称评定委员会委员。次要 著作：《中国原始艺术精神》（获“吴作人国际美术基金博士论文奖”）、《中国原始雕塑》、《中国民间美术全集?服饰卷》（获“5 个1 工程”入选作品奖、国家社会科学基金1 等奖）、《观念艺术：解构与重建的诗学》、《抽象艺术：另1 个世界》、《中国肖像?十年精神史》（获中国艺术研讨 院优秀科研成果评论1 等奖）等；译著有《中国神话根源之谜》等。曾策划“中国油画双年展”（1993）、“世纪风骨――中国当代艺术50家展”（2002）、“中国历史文明 名城韩国展”（2001）、“东方即景――中国艺术家赴巴黎展”（2004）等。策划电视专题片《中华文明5 千年》、《从乡土到古代 》。主编《王朝闻思想论集》、《中国绘画发展史》、《中国当代美术景象 批评文丛》（获文明 部优秀文明 艺术成果奖二等奖）等。
