田奎玉，山西盂县人。1977年毕业于鲁迅美术学院工艺美术设计系，同年留校任教。1990年任装璜 艺术设计系副主任，1993年任学院院长助理，1995年任副院长，1997年任常务副院长，并担任硕士研讨 生导师、教授，院学术委员会副主任。1993年被评为沈阳市优秀教师。2000年享用 国务院政府特殊津贴。第二批沈阳市优秀专家。现兼任辽宁省美术家协会副主席，辽宁省装潢 协会副会长，中国室内装潢 协会工程设计委员会委员，北京艺鸣盛世文明 传媒无限 公司特邀设计顾问。
