彭本人(1945.8—)湖南桂阳人。擅长中国画、壁画。1973年毕业于湖南师范学院美术系。曾在桂阳县文明 馆工作。1985年调湖南美术出版社，历任编辑室主任，副编审。曾创作《三十八颗人头》、《欧阳海》等10多本连环画和工笔画《青春浪漫曲》、《银妆》、《清清流水》等50多幅作品。工笔画《雾漫竹乡路》获全国第六届全国美展优秀奖，为中国美术馆收藏。《瑶家秋月》获第六届全国年画展二等奖，浮雕陶壁画有《中国姑娘》。出版有《彭本人作品集》。
