王复舜,男，1939年7月生，辽宁沈阳人。1958年于辽宁沈阳美术专科毕业。1959年调北京民族文明 宫从事美术专业工作至今。现为中国美术家协会会员、中国书画艺术人才培训中心教授、丝绸之路书画家协会名誉主席、古代 民族书画家协会副主席、中国三峡画院1 级美术师、中原书画研讨 院高级顾问、香港著名艺术家联合会艺术总鉴、北京民族文明 宫画苑主任。曾荣获香港、台湾华夏艺术国际展银奖，荣获海内外中国书画大赛六项金奖，并多次在国内外举办书画展，电台、电视台作专题报道。发表美术作品百余件，部分作品被国内外多家博物馆、纪念馆、展览馆及外国首相、总统、议员、市长等所收藏。1995年7月为世界绿色地球网络组织义捐中国书画作品20余件，受到该组织的极高评价。次要 作品及生平被辑入世界著名艺术家大典、世界古代 美术家大辞典、二十世纪国际美术精作博览、艺术家艺术品拍卖经典大鉴等数十种辞书中，同时被授予“当代杰出书画艺术家”资历 称号及荣获“世界艺术名人”资历 审定委员会授予“世界书画艺术名人”证书。
出版有《王复舜作品集》、《王复舜作品选》等。
