叶经文，男，1971年8月出生于湖南新化。衡阳师范学院教授，美术系副主任。中国美术家协会会员，湖南省美协会员，湖南设计家协会会员，衡阳市美术家协会理事。湖南省普通高校青年骨干教师，湖南省普通高校青年教师教学能手。1996年，作品《有字帖的静物》入选全国首届水彩画艺术展。1997年，《上市》入选第七届全国水彩画大展。2002年，《早市》入选第六届全国水彩·粉画展。2003年，色粉画作品《鱼·涅盘》入选中国首届粉画展，并被中国粉画艺术馆收藏；《阳光·枯蕉》入选中国美术家协会第十七次新人新作展。2004年，《瑶乡早市》入选十届全国美术作品展。2006年，《老家印象》获湖南省第六届水彩画展金展。有学术论文及作品在《文艺研讨 》、《美术观察》、《装潢 》、《中国水彩》等核心期刊上发表。
