谢惠钧，男，湖南醴陵市人，1944年月10月出生，毕业于湖南艺术学院美术系，曾任湖南省艺术研讨 所副所长，现任艺术顾问，国家1 级美术师，国务院政府特殊津贴享用 者，中国美术家协会会员。湖南省美术家协会理事、水彩水粉画艺术委员会委员、湖南水粉画研讨 会副会长，中国戏剧家协会会员、湖南省戏剧家协会副主席、名誉副主席，中国舞台美术学会常务理事、湖南舞台美术学会名誉会长。
多种报刊发表舞台美术、美术论文四十余篇，美术作品多次参加全国性的美术大展，收入多种大型画册，设计作品三十余次获中宣部“5 个1 工程”奖、文明 部文华奖、省“5 个1 工程”奖、省艺术节金奖
2000年湖南省文联授予“德艺双馨”中青年艺术家称号
2013年湖南省文艺人材“三百工程”首批入选者
