1969年生，广东普宁市人。1993年毕业于广州美术学院，1996年获地方 美术学院硕士学位。现任广州美术学院教育系讲师，中国美术家协会会员。
作品《红土人》获第九届全国美展优秀奖，《绿苹果》获第三届全国水彩、粉画展银奖，《三个陶罐》参加第5 届全国水彩、粉画展获优秀奖，《藤椅·罐》入选第四届全国水彩、粉画展，《橘子》获首届中国水彩画艺术展金奖。水彩作品及艺术评价入编《中国古代 美术全集》《中国当代美术：1979—1999》《中国当代美术图鉴》《中国水彩画》《中国水彩画史》《中国水彩画图史》《今日中国美术》《今日中国美术—展览卷》等大型画册。出版有《陈朝生色彩教学—静物篇》《陈朝生水彩风景》，合著《1 代画风—中国青年水彩艺术家》。
