王树琴，1985年至1990年就读于鲁迅美术学院油画系，1990年至今在鲁迅美术学院油画系任教，副教授。
2003年至2005年就读于地方 美术学院油画系材料言语 研讨 工作室硕士研讨 生课程班。
1990年作品《备战亚运》参加第二届中国体育美术作品展。
1992年作品《心曲》入选纪念《毛泽东在延安文艺座谈会上的讲话》发表50周年辽宁省美术作品展。
1994年作品《头饰系列》之二入选全国第二届教师优秀美术作品汇展，并获优秀奖。
1994年为丹东沿江开发区创作大型浮雕壁画：《笑迎八方客》《争上游》《海洋生物》。其中《笑迎八方客》大型浮雕在当年《美苑》第四期发表。
1999年油画作品《上下5 千年》入选“纪念建国5 十周年和西藏民主改革四十周年暨支援 西藏希望工程书画展”，分别在北京、拉萨展出后义捐。
2000年作品《鸡冠花》入选辽宁省第三届水彩画艺术展，获优秀作品奖。
2000年油画《花卉》入选由《当代美术教学范画集》收录。
2000年油画作品《向日葵》入选辽宁省第三届青年美术作品展。
2001年油画作品《九月歌》参加鲁迅美术学院教学成果汇报展。
2001年作品《月亮女神》参加鲁迅美术学院教学成果汇报展。
2001年水彩作品《花卉》参加庆祝中国共产党建党八十周年师生作品展。2002年油画《红蝉》入选纪念毛泽东《在延安文艺座谈会上的讲话》发表

2003年油画《月夜》入选“鲁艺杯”全国师范院校美术作品图片展，并获得三等奖。作品由《美苑》第1 期出版发表。
2003年综合材料作品《1 个枣，两个枣，三个枣……》入选辽宁省第三届油画美术作品展。
2005年在地方 美术学院油画系高研班毕业创作作品展中，获得“地方 美术学院”“马利艺术奖学金”1 等奖。其中三幅作品被地方 美术学院油画系收藏。
2006年综合材料作品《残碑系列》之八、之九参加在中国美术馆举办的“坚守与突破”展览。
2007年综合材料作品《残碑系列》在韩国美术馆举办当代艺术绘画展览。
2009年作品《残碑系列》参展第十1 届全国美展辽宁展区展览，获铜奖，辽宁美术出版社出版画册。
2009年《美苑》第二期发表，综合材料作品《遗风系列》之八，《残碑系列》之八，之十二等作品。
2010年《美苑》第二期发表，综合材料作品《古风系列》之三，之5 ，《残碑系列》之十5 ，之十六，之十八等作品。
2011年作品《残碑系列》参展中国美术家协会油画艺委会主办，“化境长城外——吾土吾民油画约请 展”。
