沈铭存，1956年12月10日出生，广西东兴市人。1981年毕业于广西艺术学院美术系油画专业。中国美术家协会会员，中国油画协会会员。现为广西艺术学院美术学院油画第1 工作室主任，副教授。从事古典油画创作和教学，曾出访欧洲各国考察，多次参加全国美展并获奖，作品入选《中国新文艺大系》。在英国、香港等地举行油画展。作品在世界各地均有收藏。
